LED Christmas lights have eliminated a lot of the frustration that usually accompanies decorating the house inside and out for the holiday season. When you get ready to get the lighting in place outdoors for the Christmas party, you unpack the lights from last year and you have to test each set to make sure they work. The LED lights use tiny chips similar to computer chips. They are just as safe to use on the Christmas tree in the living room as they are for the tree on the lawn outdoors. They are available in all colors and are used commercially as well by places such as Disney World and other theme parks. The colored LED lights are a bit more expensive than white lights but remember that it is only the initial purchase that is costly because there are no replacement bulbs to buy. And you don't have to keep buying new LED sets each year, unless you want to add different colors.
